Dr. Digenis has practiced cosmetic and reconstructive surgery in Louisville, Kentucky since 1997, striving to stay in the forefront of surgical and technological developments. He has been actively involved on both local and national levels to ensure quality care and education of both physicians and patients.
Dr. Digenis graduated from Vanderbilt University where he completed his internship and residency in general surgery. He trained in plastic surgery at the prestigious New York University Hospital, and the Manhattan Eye, Ear & Throat Hospital with some of the most recognized leaders in cosmetic surgery.
Before joining Dr. Norman Cole's practice, Dr. Digenis was a clinical professor of cosmetic and plastic surgery at the University of Louisville.
Dr. Digenis is the Director of Breast Health at Norton Hospital, the former President of the Kentucky Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, a Faculty Member for the National Education on Botox®, and a leader in Restylene®, and new fillers such as Juvederm®. He is the President and founding member of the Kentucky Plastic Surgery Educational Foundation. Dr. Digenis is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He is also a member of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and the American Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons.
